We will start off your way towards Nazca city and we’ll stop first at the house-museum of Maria Reiche to appreciate her job for over 50 years trying to codify all figures etched into the desert of Nasca. It is possible to see her original instruments that she had to measure the lines and photos she took while studied the understanding and purpose of all figures considered as the largest astrological calendar that would have functioned to represent constellations in the sky.

We continue our tour stopping at Maria Reiche tower where we walk up to the top and overlook a number of Nasca figures such as the lizard, the tree and the hands. Day 1:

Adventure to this trip visiting the best views of Paracas just 3 hours and half from Lima, an excellent day off through the National park of Paracas where pre-inca societies inhabited over 3000 years ago.

Once we end up the tour in the National park of Paracas you can enjoy your afternoon at tasting amazing seafood near the fishing village of Chaco Paracas where local restaurants are highly recommended to get lunch with a view of the sea.

Upon arrival at the site, meet your local driver and receive a safety briefing and orientation. All 4x4 dune buggies are comfortable vehicles, a trip that takes roughly an hour.

Day 2:

In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to the airdrome of Ica to overfly the greatest mysteries of Peru named “nazca lines”, famous geoglyphs etched into the coastal desert with great accuracy and they can only be seen from above.

Scientists, mathematicians and archaeologists have been studying the purpose of the Nazca Lines since the 1920s, but there isn’t enough conclusive evidence to determine the exact significance of the geoglyphs. Theories have been made connecting their meaning to everything from textiles and agriculture to aliens and stars.

Day 1:

Discover on this new package all the best of Ica region in just 3 days. One of the best spots to visit when in Peru is definitely Ica and its surroundings. The trip starts from pick up in Lima hotel to the bus station towards Ica city, it takes you right along south of the capital to see the great variety of landscapes, different folklore, excellent technique of harvesting crops and knowledge of local people which has been passed down through generations.

On this first day you will visit the Tacama farm, the oldest vineyard in South America where one of the best wines and piscos in Peru are processed. Later we will visit the huacachina “the oasis of America“ surrounded by immense sand dunes, which we will travel in the tubulars and practice sandboarding.

Day 2:

Embark on a full day of adventure and fun with an informative tour of “Ocucaje lost canyon” home of the famous fossils of whales that existed millions of years ago when the southern coastal desert was under the ocean.
